A Family!

The former Elder Johnson came back!

This week has been great!  On Monday, we contacted a referral that had a classic MTC sort of situation, her son had died and she was angry at God.  We taught part of the plan of salvation and that really seemed to bring her comfort.  We are so excited to see her progress soon!  On Tuesday, we had a great lesson with our newly progressing investigators Maria and Eric!  We had planned to teach the Plan of Salvation, but they had so many great questions about what they had read in the Book of Mormon and in the pamphlet!  They really showed that they have a desire to learn and progress!  At the end of the lesson, we were committing them to come just to sacrament meeting, but the Eric said that he wants to come to all three hours to see how it is!  They came for all three hours and had a great time!  Some of the meetings got a little deep for what they have already learned.  We had an Area Seventy who talked in sacrament meeting and it was perfect for them!  He talked about the importance of reading and praying to know and to grow your testimony! 


The Temple trip was great!  I feel that no matter how many times I attend the temple, I will always receive guidance for my life!  

 

Later that day we contacted a man named Eduardo who also looks like Mexican George Clooney and is also very interested in the peace the message can bring!  On Thursday we found a family!  The mom's name is Elsa and her and her two daughters are related to a member in the branch, took the lessons before, and want to be an eternal family!  We are so excited to teach them and help them progress!  This week has been great!
